Established by Kevin and Naomi Finch in 2007, Big Grill Catering was Inspired by the 100-mile diet, and the locavore eating movement. Since then, Kevin and Naomi have worked together with local Ontario farmers and producers to build Big Grill Catering into Simcoe County’s premiere on-site Wedding and Event Caterers.
Kevin is an award-winning papered chef with over 30 years of experience, Kevin is also a second-generation farmer. His family has operated one of Ontario's premier apple orchards since the late 1980s. Kevin's experience in the culinary industry and his family's 40-year relationship with local farms and food producers means that Big Grill Catering can bring you the freshest and most local culinary experience you will ever enjoy!
Naomi has over 20 years customer service experience in the hospitality and catering industry. She prides herself on attention to detail and ensures that her clients receive only the best in staffing and service for your wedding or catered event.

We booked Big Grill Catering for our wedding back in Aug and they were amazing! Right from the beginning Naomi was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful and understanding with all the changes we made to our menu. We wanted BBQ style food for our wedding and they didn't disappoint. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was exceptional. Our guests talked about how delicious all of the food was and some even went back for more! Naomi and her staff were friendly and made sure that nobody left our wedding hungry! Naomi and the Big Grill Catering team are exceptional! The team served approx 115 people at our barn wedding and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. What can I say about this amazing company. From the tasting back in September when we were planning, until the night of the actual wedding, their service was amazing. Naomi was quick to reply to emails, answering every question I had - the day of, her and her staff where quick when a bit of rain came down, friendly to myself and my guests, and so accommodating with my schedule - they waited to set up while we had our ceremony. Everything ran on time! Naomi, seeing that I was a bit overwhelmed and wanted to walk around and speak to my guests, set aside a generous plate and put it in my fridge for me to enjoy when I was ready to eat. THAT for me was excellent service in itself. Many compliments on the food, everyone loved it.
